We are creating and launching a cool digital Door County imagazine..

My current project I'm leading. Our team is going to create and publish a cool digital, interactive magazine - called Door County Social™.  We will help people all over the planet discover, relish in, and enjoy that special ethos of place called Door County U.S.A. (One of the top ten vacation destinations and top places to live in the country.) This and the characters and their efforts that help make it so. Help people show off their happy place and - Live the Cherry Life!™

I like to refer to Door County as the most socially satisfying place of earth.™  The passion for Door County represents a big cross section of the population. From families with young children that will not miss a summer vacationing here to Senior couples that can’t wait to retire here.  More specifically, we are launching what is best described as a refreshing, engaging, national, multimedia publishing effort.  A 'life & style' iMagazine. Magazines by definition are designed to carry things.  We aim to create pixel-lust™ by featuring beautiful, high resolution pictures showcasing the natural beauty and other items of interest in this special place in the world along with enjoyable articles and unique features. One of the classy publications we are using as a benchmark is the WSJ Magazine.  This publication will also carry engaging video’s, some of which will be crowd sourced for special projects. We plan on publishing 6 issues this year. We have people from all over the country that already have expressed interest in contributing content to this imagazine; from writing articles about the things they are passionate about in Door County, outdoor life, local music scene, arts, places of interest, people of interest, businesses, vacation videos and sharing their stories about how they discovered this wonderful place and why they chose to live here year round.

This digital publication will be designed to format to all pc’s, laptops, tablets and most all mobile devices. We will also create a corresponding website/blog which will link to the  magazine and will also provide a place for the Door County enthusiasts can share their passion, via comments, stories, pictures.
